SENSORY

Processing everyday sensory information can be difficult for autistic people. Any of their senses may be over or under-sensitive, or both, at different times. These sensory differences can affect how they feel and act, and can have a profound effect on a person’s life. (National Autistic Society).

We can support with the following:

  • Sensory Circuit

  • Sensory Diet

  • Sensory Stories

  • Food for Fun

  • Sensory play

  • Fine Motor Skills Sensory Activities

  • General Sensory Strategies (advice given to parent if we feel that your child will benefit from the involvement of an Occupational Therapist).

Please note - any support needed for any personal care issues will be given in the form of advice
ONLY and not modelled directly with the child. Please contact the service for further information
